Untold Story of India - A must read for all Indians.

I think I have reached a point of source in my quest for search of answers for problems which have been bothering me for a very long time. The problems which is bothering every Indian in present times. So many unanswered questions which has bothered, confused & depressed the present generation of Indians.

Why are Indians divided? Why are we poor? Why can't we become developed? Why are we so depressed? Why do we not trust each other? Why we hate each other? Why are we not proud of our culture? Why is it communal to be Hindus? Why are there communal tensions? Why are we so corrupt? Why? Why? Why? ...

The recent failure of Anna's movement at Mumbai has been because of this Why? We Indians still haven't got answers to our Why and we are so depressed with it that we are unable to think straight of what is right and what is wrong. We are so vulnerable that we cannot even stand firm with a cause. We could be easily persuaded by smart political games, to doubt any legitimate cause. Ignorance has covered the psychic of this nation. The nation as a whole is suffering from amnesia. The memory of its glorious past and struggle has been completely erased by the political leadership of this nation for its own vested interest. We are like victims of amnesia patients who are unaware of their own identity. We cannot appreciate the importance of being an Indian, because nobody made us aware of what does it mean to be an Indian. All that most of the Indians know about is the history from the point Mughals invaded us to the point we are today, with few references to the Harappan civilzation, and few stories of ancient India. How can any Indian appreciate the significance of why this oldest civilization still exists on this planet. It has not been because nobody eliminated it, it has been because sacrifice of more that 80 million of Hindus who refused to bow down against the barbaric rule of Islam & other foreigners, and of those warriors who fought hard to regain the freedom back from clutches of oppression. How can one appreciate such a civilization when he/she don't know what price has been paid for it to preserve this treasure of knowledge and culture.

Grave injustice have been done to this nation by keeping it devoid of this reality of struggle and sacrifice which kept this civilization thriving. It is not only about the past which is troubling but even the present times are nothing different. The present govt. (read Congress) is turning blind eye to the problems that have become a threat to the integrity & security of this nation. We are leading towards a path of complete social breakdown if political leadership keeps an apathy towards the present state of affairs. North-East states have almost gone out of control, demanding separation from India and disowning any cultural connection with it. Similar situations are rapidly developing in remote corners of this country. India has become nothing but a hunting ground for religious conversions for world's two largest religions, Islam and Christianity. Both are in a mad race to keep themselves at top of the charts, to have maximum population in the world. This battle between the two is resulting in the destruction of our civilization and social integrity. Something which has been preserved by unimaginable sacrifices, something which we cannot appreciate. The present govt. of Congress is not bothered about this and turns a blind eye to this situation as it is more interested of the increasing vote bank of minorities for them to stay in power. The recent reservation by religion is a good example. It is unconstitutional to give reservation by religion. Even Super Court has given multiple order against reservation by religion. This is divisive politics and not at all secular in nature.

The majority, i.e the Hindus are a confused lot, which are completely unaware of what is happening with them, and what is going to happen with them. They think they are living in a secular nation and every crime & security issue will be taken care by the govt. But that is not what is happening. The abuses to majority community sentiments and threat to its population are diluted down, and not given the same importance which are given to similar issues with minority community. The result is a fast changing demographic of the nation, and increasing communal tensions where once a majority have now turned into minority. This change in demographic is not a natural phenomenon but a lack of true secular administration. If Hindus have to preserve the dignity of this great civilization, then they will have to understand the past and appreciate the sacrifices given for this nation. They have to unite as a single force, and that unity comes from a common past that each one of us share. Voting against the psedo-secular parties like congress is the only way for them to prevent any future social disorder. Until we unite we are not going to be able to solve our problems.

This is disturbing and many Indians do not want to bother themselves to give it a thought. If you have a open mind and are concerned with the many problems this nation is facing with and want to get answers to get a clear view of the situation then read this book "Crimes Against India" - by Stephen Knapp. Its an eye opener for every Indian. Below is the link which gives a preview of the book which I got it from the amazon site. Read it to get the essence of the issue at hand so far. Its worth a read and a must for Indians.

Russia tries to ban Holy Geeta - Read it Online

http://www.bhagavad-gita.org

The Bhagavad- Gita is considered by eastern and western scholars alike to be among the greatest spiritual books the world has ever known. In a very clear and wonderful way the Supreme Lord Krishna describes the science of self-realization and the exact process by which a human being can establish their eternal relationship with God. In terms of pure, spiritual knowledge the Bhagavad- Gita is incomparable. Its intrinsic beauty is that its knowledge applies to all human beings and does not postulate any sectarian idealogy or secular view. It is appproachable from the sanctified realms of all religions and is glorified as the epitome of all spiritual teachings. This is because proficiency in the Bhagavad- Gita reveals the eternal principles which are fundamental and essential for spiritual life from all perspectives and allows one to perfectly understand the esoteric truths hidden within all religious scriptures. Many great thinkers from our times such as Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi and Albert Schweizer as well as Madhvacarya, Sankara and Ramanuja from bygone ages have all contemplated and deliberarted upon its timeless message. The primary purpose of the Bhagavad- Gita is to illuminate for all of humanity the realization of the true nature of divinity; for the highest spiritual conception and the greatest material perfection is to attain love of God!
